The Northern Charitable Foundation is a sponsor of the ITC High-Performance Girls Teams. Founded in 1976, the ITC uses tennis as a tool to teach young people the skills they need to be successful in life.

Empowering Girls to Become Leaders
The ITC serves more than 20,000 Israeli young people annually and is one of the largest social service organizations for children in Israel with a total of 14 centers across the country. The Girls Teams are particularly focused on empowering young women to become leaders both in their communities and throughout the world. The teams are made up of the top 60 female players from the ages of 10 to 17.
The goal of the ITC Girls program is to keep young women engaged in the sport and to give them the chance to become professional tennis players or coaches. Statistics indicate that twice as many girls drop out of playing sports as boys. ITC Girls Teams helps these young women develop communication and leadership skills in addition to honing their athleticism.
